Subject	What needs to be removed to remove oil pan (engine in Z)?

Message	I have the Z up on jackstands and am draining the oil. I have my FSM, but as always, it's much more obvious what ytou need to remove AFTER you've done the job. Was wondering if anyone could tell me what they remember of what needs to be removed to drop the pan? Goal: Replace rod bearings with engine in the car. Questionable things in the way: Steering rack AC hose Lower control arms Bracket btwn oil filter and pan Bracket btwn pan and bellhousing etc. etc... Thanks for any hints, pointers, things to do to make it easier, thinkgs NOT to do to make it easier, things not to do under any circumstances, etc. Mike ------------------------------------------------------
